Forklift Operator (Sit-Down) (2nd Shift)

• Location: Bay Minette, AL
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
• Pay: $17

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support our production and warehouse operations in a manufacturing facility. This role involves transporting raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies throughout the plant to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

·        Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and products safely and efficiently

·        Load and unload trucks, pallets, and production lines

·        Transport paperboard, packaging supplies, and finished boxes between departments

·        Stage materials for production and assist with inventory rotation

·        Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs

·        Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory

·        Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

·        Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

 

🧠 Knowledge & Requirements

·        Minimum 1 year of forklift operation in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred

·        Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

·        Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

·        Basic math and inventory tracking skills

·        Good communication and teamwork abilities

·        Willingness to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment
