Responsibilities:

1. Inspecting Air Duct Systems:

   • Assessing air duct systems for dirt, debris, mold, and other pollutants.

   • Using specialized tools to inspect and assess the condition of air ducts.

2. Cleaning Air Ducts:

   • Removing dust, debris, and contaminants from air ducts using high-powered vacuums, brushes, and other cleaning tools.

   • Ensuring proper air flow and removing blockages or obstructions that could impact system performance.

3. Mold and Mildew Remediation:

   • Identifying signs of mold and mildew buildup in air ducts.

   • Applying appropriate cleaning solutions or treatments to prevent or eliminate mold growth.

4. Sanitizing and Deodorizing:

   • Applying sanitizers and deodorizers to air ducts to improve air quality and eliminate odors.

5. System Maintenance:

   • Performing minor repairs and maintenance on ductwork, such as sealing leaks or replacing damaged parts.

   • Checking filters and recommending or performing filter replacements when necessary.

6. Customer Service:

   • Interacting with clients to discuss their air duct needs and explain services provided.

   • Offering maintenance advice to clients on how to keep their air ducts clean and in good working condition.

7. Safety and Compliance:

   • Adhering to safety standards, including using proper protective equipment (PPE) and handling cleaning chemicals safely.

   • Complying with local regulations regarding air quality, cleaning procedures, and waste disposal.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify air duct problems.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and air quality maintenance.

• Ability to use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, brushes, and compressors.

• Physical stamina, as the job may involve crawling in tight spaces and lifting heavy equipment.

• Good customer service and communication skills.

• Safety-conscious and ability to follow safety protocols.
