Wood Crate Builder / Assembly Technician

Location: Robertsdale, AL

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm

Pay: $16/hr

 

✅ What You’ll Do

·        Assemble custom wood crates and pallets using hand and power tools

·        Measure, cut, and fasten lumber according to specifications

·        Inspect finished products for quality and structural integrity

·        Maintain a clean and organized work area

·        Assist with loading and staging crates for shipment

·        Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE

 

🧰 Skills & Abilities

·        Stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs

·        Use tape measures, nail guns, saws, and other carpentry tools

·        Read and follow basic blueprints or assembly instructions

·        Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

·        Maintain accuracy and attention to detail

·        Operate safely around loud machinery and wood dust

 

🧠 Knowledge & Requirements

·        Basic carpentry or construction experience preferred

·        Familiarity with wood types and fasteners

·        Safety awareness for manual labor and equipment use

·        Willingness to wear full safety gear: boots, glasses, gloves, ear protection

·        Strong work ethic and reliability
