About the Role:

As a Business Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for promoting our staffing services to local businesses. Your mission will be to identify new business opportunities, connect with key decision-makers, and build lasting relationships. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re comfortable engaging with professionals at all levels and possess the ability to sell essential, intangible business services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Outreach: Make over 100 sales calls weekly—both by phone and in-person—aiming to secure at least two new clients each week.
• Client Engagement: Meet with decision-makers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed documentation of all sales interactions in our proprietary database.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a daily sales plan to optimize your outreach and follow-up efforts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Staffing Consultants to ensure seamless communication regarding new orders and candidate placements.

Compensation and Work Schedule:

• Base Salary: $40,000 to $50,000 per year, plus commission based on your sales performance.
• Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  There is no remote work.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in B2B sales is a plus but not required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
