Express Employment Professionals is seeking several Laboratory Technicians to join a dynamic team with a local company. Laboratory Technicians play a key role in advancing the research conducted by this company. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring lab technicians, lab assistants, or scientists with a passion for biology and hands-on lab work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation, extraction, and quality analysis
• Operate and maintain lab instrumentation
• Accurately manage sample archives and document procedures in lab notebooks
• Follow established SOPs and laboratory procedures
• Support lab operations including supply ordering, equipment calibration, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment
• Assist in onboarding and training new teammates
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance lab efficiency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in biology, science, or a related field required (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• 1–2 years of laboratory technician experience required
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to stand for the duration of each shift
