An agriculture services company dedicated to providing reliable soil testing and analysis for our clients. We are seeking a Front Office Clerk to serve as the first point of contact for our customers and provide support across multiple areas of our organization.

The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and willing to assist wherever needed; from helping clients understand soil sampling procedures and test results to supporting lab operations during downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients in person, by phone, and via email with professionalism and courtesy.
• Provide guidance to clients on how to properly collect and submit soil samples.
• Help clients interpret soil test reports and direct them to appropriate staff for technical questions.
• Receive and process samples, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Perform essential office duties such as filing, data entry, scheduling, and maintaining records.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
• Support laboratory staff with light duties during slower office periods (e.g., labeling, organizing samples, preparing materials).
• Assist other departments as needed to maintain efficient operations across the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or agricultural experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email communication).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn about soil testing processes and agricultural terminology.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and move around the office or lab area.
• May occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
