CNC Setup/Operator - 2nd Shift

Salary: $24.34/hour

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CNC Setup/Operator for a respected manufacturing company in the Dubuque area. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in precision work and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC equipment according to specifications
• Make tool wear offsets to ensure parts remain within tolerance
• Use precision inspection tools, plugs, and gauges to verify part quality
• Operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) as needed
• Change inserts and maintain tools in good working condition
• Mix coolant and monitor machine performance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications:

• Previous CNC setup and operation experience required
• Strong understanding of quality inspection tools and measurement standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Dependable and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills

Schedule & Pay:

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:15 PM – 11:15 PM
• Overtime: 3:15 PM – 1:15 AM (paid lunch)
• Pay: $24.34/hour
