Position Summary:

The General Labor/Plant Helper is responsible for safely and efficiently helping the plant run smoothly by loading & off stacking product, material handling, packing, to form and bend metal parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and a strong sense of teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and stage feedstock for fulfillment orders.

• Break down bulk bundles into customer-specific orders.

• Package materials according to customer requirements and specifications.

• Operate a sit-down or side-loader forklift to move materials as needed.

• Complete all required paperwork and accurately confirm work orders in SAP for shipping and receiving.

• Maintain maximum productivity while ensuring quality and accuracy in finished goods.

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned—responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a press brake or working in metal fabrication preferred.

• Forklift experience and/or certification a plus.

• Basic computer skills for SAP or similar systems.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work 2nd shift.

Schedule & Pay:

• Shift: 1st Shift 7a-5p Mon-Thur

• Pay: $16–$19 per hour (based on experience)

• Overtime opportunities available
