NEED TWO ZUND OPERATORS ONE FOR NIGHT ONE FOR MORNING 

Seeking 2 freelance Zund Operators. 
 
1 year experience of operating a Zund machine or experience with a different type of digital die cutting machine, that works great as well. 
another brand of a digital die cutter is a Kongsberg 

Mounting and Laminating experience is a PLUS
 
Software: Touch and Cut 

Freelance shift, 1st 6am-2:30pm, 2nd 2pm-10:30pm (the freelancer would spend several days working at the work location right away to train before they would be on call/freelance, must be open to working a freelance/on-call shifts)

•    Set-up and run die cutting equipment. 
•    Maintain standard of quality. 
•    Report any problems and/or discrepancies to the die cutting assistant/department manager. 
•    Keep the work area clean and orderly. 
•    Work overtime when needed. 
•    Report accurate time and quantities using the “ELF” systems. 
•    Be responsible for maintaining glue inventory. 
•    Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
•    High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience 
•    1 year die cutting experience on any material. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
•    Large Format Die cutting experience.
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
•    Ability to measure in fractions of inches up to and including 32nds. 
•    Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions.
•    Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up. 
•    Basic Math skills including skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. 
•    Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation. 
•    Supports a safe work environment. 
•    Knowledge of production materials. 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT

•    Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.   
•    Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors.   
•    Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.   
•    Manual dexterity for repetitive work.   
•    Frequent walking and standing.
