Position Summary:

The Tie-In Operator / Warper is responsible for preparing weaving machines for warp tie-in operations and ensuring the smooth flow of production. This role involves managing warp beam replacement, performing tie-ins, and keeping looms running efficiently to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare looms for warp tie-in operations.

• Operate automatic tie-in machines or perform manual tying as needed.

• Connect warp ends from the new beam to the existing warp on the loom.

• Monitor and adjust equipment for proper operation.

• Replace warp beams and ensure accurate threading.

• Perform basic maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.

• Communicate with shift supervisors and weaving technicians on production status and any issues.

Qualifications:

• Prior textile or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety and quality.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
