Express Employment is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a company in Davenport, IA!

 Responsibilities of the Diesel Mechanic:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles and trailer
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on diesel trucks, equipment and trailers.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and update repair logs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements of the Diesel Mechanic:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with diesel engines or heavy-duty trucks.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, braking systems, electrical systems, and general vehicle diagnostics.
• Must own a basic set of hand tools required for diesel repair work (specialty tools provided by the company).
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Welding or fabrication skills a plus.

• Full-Time
• Working 1^st shift
• $23.00-29.00/hour
