Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join a reputable local automotive repair shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a wide range of vehicles

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake service

• Inspect, test, and replace worn parts using proper tools and diagnostic equipment

• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and other major components

• Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify problems and verify repairs

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent

• Follow all safety and environmental regulations

• Communicate effectively with service advisors, supervisors, and customers

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2–5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience (ASE certifications preferred)

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair software
