What is the Role:

• Responsible for providing industrial safety expertise to our clients, services ranging from regulatory assessments related to Ontario regulations, designing complaint solutions, CAD Modelling, drafting technical drawings
• Construct technical reports of findings – PEO and regulatory guidelines
• On – site assessments with respect to Canadian and international safety standards

Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer designation with the PEO with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is required
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and / or AutoCad is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Access)
• Solid written and verbal communication skills are required
• Experience with Ontario Regulations is required: O. Reg. 851 (specifically Section 7), O. Reg. 213/07, O. Reg. 332/12.
• Experience with relevant safety standards is required. E.g., CSA Z432, CSA C22.1, ISO 13849, NFPA 30, NFPA 79, etc.
