Job Title: Bench Mechanic

Location: Indian Trail, NC 
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $25/hr. - $30/hr. 

 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This role involves the precise disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of small mechanical components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent hand-eye coordination, and experience working with a wide range of hand tools and large-scale testing equipment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and reassemble small mechanical parts and components with accuracy and care

• Use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments during assembly and repair processes

• Operate large testing equipment to inspect and verify functionality of repaired parts

• Maintain a clean and organized workbench and ensure all equipment is properly maintained

• Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and safety procedures

• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Bench, Compartment, or Accessory Mechanic preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow assembly procedures

• Experience using precision hand tools and testing equipment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and manual dexterity
