Our client located in Kearny, NJ is seeking a CNC Punch Press Operator for their Telecommunications Manufacturing company. The CNC Punch Press Operator will punch, shape, and form sheet metal material for telecommunications equipment. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with company benefits, being a part of their Union.

CNC Punch Press Operator Responsibilities

• Set up Punch Press machine for operation, including installing and aligning tooling such as punches and dies, adjust settings, and loading of sheet metal
• Load sheet metal into Punch Press, ensuring proper alignment using guides, stops, or fixtures
• Operate Punch Press to punch, cut, and form operations according to specifications
• Utilize controls to adjust speed, force, and other parameters as needed
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, sharpening, and replacing punches and dies, to ensure operational efficiency

CNC Punch Press Operator Requirements

• At least 1 year experience as CNC Punch Press Operator
• Knowledge of Sheet Metal Manufacturing
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Interpret blueprint readings, technical drawings, and specifications
• Experience with Amada or Trumpf machines a plus

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 3:30pm – 12am (Overtime availability when needed)

Pay: $26.40 – $29.70
