Class A CDL Driver – Argyle, MN
Pay range: $25.00 – $29.00 per hour, depending on experience
A leading manufacturer in the bird food industry is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for the Argyle, MN area. This role is essential to the success of shipping operations and plays a critical part in delivering products safely and efficiently to and from local production facilities. The Class A CDL Driver will also support other departments as needed and contribute to safe and efficient day-to-day operations.
First shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Full-time position (40–45 hours per week), with potential for some overtime and weekend shifts
Location:Argyle, MN
Load, secure, and deliver freight using company equipment, ensuring products arrive safely and on time
Complete regular route runs between Argyle, MN and Stephen, MN
Safely operate trucks with a GVW up to 80,000 lbs. and maneuver into loading/unloading positions
Conduct vehicle inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance
Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
Review shipping paperwork and organize deliveries efficiently
Assist with errands, supply pickups, and other duties as assigned
Support production and/or maintenance teams when not driving
Maintain accurate driving documentation and report any incidents, defects, or violations
Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred; must pass DOT background and drug screening
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and prolonged standing
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification onsite
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with strong attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Two or more years of verifiable driving experience preferred with a current and clean Class A CDL
Work performed in trucks, trailers, warehouses, and outdoor environments
May include exposure to moving mechanical parts, product irritants, airborne particles, and varying weather conditions
