Retail / Sales Manager

Located in Tigard, OR

We’re hiring a Retail / Sales Manager for a locally owned furniture store in the Tigard area. In this role, you’ll lead a small sales team, manage store operations, and track key performance metrics to ensure efficiency and profitability. You’ll train and develop sales staff, oversee inventory and product movement, and help create strategies to drive sales, with a strong focus on maintaining healthy profit margins and moving older inventory.

Job Duties:

• Lead and train a team of two sales associates to meet and exceed sales goals
• Develop and implement sales strategies, word tracks, and promotional plans
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPI’s) including revenue, margin percentage, shelf time, and items sold
• Manage inventory systems and monitor product shipments, sales, and restocking needs
• Prioritize and promote older inventory (18+ months) to ensure optimal product turnover
•  Coordinate and plan advertising campaigns, sales events, and in-store promotions
• Collaborate with commercial clients on large-scale furniture sales and contracts
