Senior Quality Control Inspector

Salary: $37-$40/hr

We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector for a manufacturing company in Littleton, MA. This role is responsible for performing detailed inspections, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and integrity.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of components, subassemblies, and finished assemblies
• Conduct first article (FAI), in-process, final, and RMA inspections
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment in the Quality Control Lab; assist with internal calibrations
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and specifications to ensure compliance
• Generate and maintain inspection documentation, reports, and nonconformance records
• Support R&D and new product inspection activities
• Provide inspection data for internal and external audits
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical quality issues
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred
• ASQ Certification (CQT, CQI, or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Minimum 7 years of experience in quality control, with mechanical inspection experience required
• Proficiency in GD&T and use of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, and thread gages
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and electronic quality management systems (eQMS)
• Familiarity with IPC inspection standards
