Maintenance Technician II

Located in Eugene, OR

The Processing Maintenance is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of all related equipment to include Egg laying equipment, heavy equipment such as skid steers, front loader and dump truck and any and all support equipment (e.g. pressure washers, air compressors, generators, etc.)

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on all production and related equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manual, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specification, troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Responsible for maintaining maintenance records and following regulatory guidelines set by agencies (e.g., PM schedules, toll clean and sanitize log, scale calibration, )
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing
• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying
