Position Title: CNC / Manual Lathe and Mill Machinist
Location: Indian Trail, NC Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with occasional overtime)Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (higher compensation available for top talent)
Overview:We are seeking an experienced CNC / Manual Lathe and Mill Machinist to join our team. This role involves operating both manual and CNC equipment to produce high-quality, customized parts. While the facility is equipped with automated machinery, manual machining is often preferred due to the level of customization and efficiency required.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain manual lathes and manual mills to machine precision parts.
Set up and operate 2-axis CNC machines, performing light programming as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
Perform tool setup, part layout, and finishing operations.
Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of machining experience required.
Proficiency in both manual and CNC lathe/mill operation (2-axis).
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools with accuracy.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude.
Experience with custom or one-off part production preferred.
