Position Title: CDL Class A Truck DriverLocation: OTREmployment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $25 - $35 hr
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials to various destinations. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, customer service, and timely delivery.
Operate a CDL Class A commercial vehicle safely and responsibly in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance or mechanical issues
Load and unload freight as needed, ensuring cargo is secured and transported without damage
Maintain accurate logs, records of hours, mileage, and all required shipping documentation
Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, customers, and supervisors regarding delivery schedules, delays, and updates
Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS and traffic data to meet delivery deadlines
Perform basic truck maintenance tasks and ensure cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle
Comply with company procedures, safety guidelines, and federal/state transportation laws
Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 2-3 recent years of commercial driving experience preferred
Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and hours-of-service rules
Ability to lift up to 50–80 lbs and sit for extended periods
Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS and electronic logging devices (ELDs)
Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
High level of professionalism, reliability, and customer service
Forklift or pallet jack certification (a plus)
TWIC card or Hazmat endorsement
