Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services. This role requires strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Evaluate supplier performance, pricing trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Create, review, and manage purchase orders, contracts, and inventory records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement needs.
• Manage multiple orders, suppliers, and deadlines while maintaining strong organizational practices.
• Utilize ERP systems, procurement software, and Excel to track and manage purchasing activities.
• Apply ethical judgment in supplier selection and contract negotiations.
• Stay informed on market trends, product specifications, and supply chain dynamics to support purchasing decisions.
• Troubleshoot supply disruptions, quality issues, and urgent procurement needs in a proactive manner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (years of experience preferred).
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
