Express Employment Professionals-Farmingdale, NY is looking for snow plow operator on an on-call basis (weather dependent). 

Job Description

• Drive trucks equipped with front and/or wing plows, along with belly plows, and spreaders for salt or brine. 
• Plow, push, and stack snow from assigned areas like streets, highways, and commercial parking lots. 
• Spread salt, brine, or other de-icing agents to prevent ice formation. 
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use, performing minor maintenance and reporting any defects. 
• Keep detailed records of daily work, vehicle operation, and maintenance. 
• Adjust driving techniques based on snow accumulation, traffic, and road conditions. 
• Perform duties as required during emergency situations. 

Requirements and Qualifications

• A standard driver's license is required, and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is often necessary, especially for public road plowing. 
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including long hours and potentially working in extreme cold.
