Manufacturing Operator - Medical Device

 

Location: Libertyville, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay: $17–$20/hour (based on skills and experience)
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary

Responsible for routine manufacturing assembly and packaging activities required to assemble and package products in compliance with regulatory standards.

 

Major Responsibilities

• Perform basic hand assembly of components as defined in procedures.
• Operate basic manufacturing equipment (e.g., heat sealers, handheld measuring instruments).
• Record manufacturing data on official records and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Handle material movement and inventory tasks to support operations.
• Comply with all applicable procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Execute special manufacturing tasks and projects as directed by management.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards.
• Clean work areas and equipment per procedures.
• Generate product labeling and documentation.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by the Manufacturing Team Leader.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in manufacturing or medical device industry preferred (not required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
