Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and replace roofing systems including shingles, metal, TPO, EPDM, and flat roofs. Inspect problem roofs to determine the best repair procedures. Measure, cut, and fit roofing materials to specifications. Apply waterproofing materials such as membranes, coatings, or tar. Ensure proper sealing and flashing around chimneys, vents, and edges. Operate hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment properly. Maintain clean and safe work areas, following all safety protocols. Work collaboratively with other crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum 1–2 years of roofing experience (commercial or residential). Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Strong understanding of roofing materials and installation methods. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs regularly. Knowledge of safety regulations and fall protection standards. Red Seal or trade certification (an asset but not mandatory).
