Assembler

Located in Waunakee, WI

Salary: $20+/hour

Express is seeking experienced assemblers for a 2nd shift opening with our client in Waunakee! The Assembler is responsible for assembling gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components per information on work order.  The assembler is responsible for testing units and troubleshooting problems associated with Gearbox Assembly.

 

Job Duties:

• Assemble gearboxes to work order instructions
• Check work orders for accuracy.
• Visually check parts for quality.
• Test units for audible noises.
• Rework and correct any noise or leakage problems.
• Work related to maintaining the 5S program and Kanban system.
• Be an active participant in the company’s suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost savings programs.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous assembly experience
• Ability to read and write
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule:

• 1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm Mon - Fri
• 2nd shift: 3pm - 1:30am Sun - Thurs

 

Pay: $21 - $23+/hour plus $2.00 shift premium
