Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Quality Control Technician for a reputable food manufacturing company in Yuba City. 

Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Department: Quality Department
Reports To: Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager

Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining all aspects of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance System. This includes document control, quality and production record review, internal audits, and HACCP/BRC documentation. This role also provides backup support for QC Line Technicians and the front office receptionist as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support Food Safety & Quality Systems for the organization.

• Manage document control processes and verification.

• Conduct GMP inspections (daily, weekly, monthly) and monthly internal BRC audits.

• Support QC Line Checks, CCP monitoring, environmental swabbing, and pre-operational inspections.

• Assist with production mass balance, sample submissions, equipment calibration scheduling, and raw/finished product inspections.

• Participate in CAPA programs, root cause analysis, and customer complaint investigations.

• Provide feedback to production teams regarding compliance and assembly accuracy.

• Ensure Good Documentation Practices and maintain strong organizational communication.

Required Certifications & Training:

• HACCP Certification (Required)

• Ability to obtain within 12 months:

  • Internal Audit Certification

  • BRC Certification

  • PCQI Certification

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience as a QA/QC Technician in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid math skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
