Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.

• Submit background checks, DMV reports, and drug tests for new hires.

• Perform duties related to the hiring and setup of new employees, including coordinating new hire benefits and entering information into the payroll system.

• Assist with accident reporting and assign safety training for new hires.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions and communications.

• Analyze, prepare, and input payroll data for weekly and semi-monthly payroll.

• Ensure proper application of earnings codes, deductions, tax withholdings, and garnishments.

• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll and compliance reports.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree preferred.
• Payroll or HR Certification (e.g. APA-CPP, SHRM-CP) is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience with payroll systems and related HRIS software programs, preferably UKG.
• Detail-oriented with significant knowledge of payroll administration, including state and federal regulations.
• Must be a team player and work well with all levels of staff.
