Express Employment Professionals Dayton South is now hiring a Skilled CNC Machinist in Miamisburg, OH at $17.00-$20.00/hour, depending on experience.  
*Must have good longevity/tenure. Resumes with inconsistent work history or frequent job movement (several jobs in less than a year or short periods at several jobs) will NOT be considered.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Set up and Operate CNC Machines: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up and program CNC machines for specific jobs, load raw materials, and run test cycles.
• MUST KNOW how to program, change out tooling, and be knowledgeable of G-Codes.
• Monitor Production: Supervise the CNC machines during operation, making necessary adjustments to ensure efficient and smooth production while adhering to schedules and quality standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using tools like calipers and micrometers to verify they meet required dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Record Keeping: Maintain logs of machine actions, production quantities, and quality checks, reporting any issues or logistics problems as they arise.

Experience Skills Required

• Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and interpret blueprints, technical instructions, and engineering schematics.
• Mathematical & Software Skills: Proficient in basic mathematics for measurements and calculations, and skilled in using CAD/CAM software to translate designs into machine instructions. 
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure precision in machine setup, operation, and final product inspection.
