Billing Specialist – HVAC Company (Fort Myers, FL)

Pay: $24–$27/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with customers and technicians, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service—manage difficult situations, respond promptly to needs, and gather feedback to improve service quality.

• Receive and organize work tickets from service technicians.

• Verify billing amounts and ensure accuracy of grammar and details.

• Prepare client invoices based on labor and materials used.

• Process extended warranty billing online.

• Set up new customer accounts and enter warranty or contract details as needed.

• Review and approve warranty invoices.

• Resolve billing issues with customers and technicians.

• Process all billing within 3 business days to meet department goals.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, treating coworkers and customers with respect.

• Demonstrate dependability—consistent attendance, punctuality, and responsiveness to management direction.

• Participate in company meetings and contribute to a collaborative office culture.

Qualifications

• Intermediate Excel skills required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Comfortable handling customer calls and problem resolution.

• Prior experience with construction or service-based companies (HVAC or plumbing industry experience a plus).
