Salary: $30-38/hour

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist / CNC Turning Machinist for a local precision manufacturing company. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who can independently set up and operate CNC lathes, work from blueprints and produce precision parts to tight tolerances.

Location: 
Pay: $30–$38/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes / CNC turning equipment

• Perform machine setups, tooling changes and offsets

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

• Machine precision components to required dimensions and tolerances

• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges and other precision measuring instruments

• Inspect completed parts and make adjustments as necessary

• Troubleshoot machining or quality issues

• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation

• Work independently while meeting quality and production standards

Qualifications:

• Previous CNC lathe machining experience required

• Strong CNC setup and machining skills

• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T and tight tolerances

• Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment

• CNC programming or program-editing experience is a plus

• Strong attention to quality, accuracy and detail

• Experience in a precision manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred
