Our Metairie team is looking for a dependable Wire Rope Rigger to join a leading company specializing in wire rope products used for cranes and heavy equipment. This hands-on role involves pressing wire rope, operating sit-down forklifts, and using grinders, cutters, and torches in a warehouse environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Press and prepare wire rope for cranes and lifting equipment

• Operate a sit-down forklift (no stand-up or high lifting)

• Use grinders, cutters, and torches to complete production tasks

• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and follow safety protocols

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Able to lift 75–80 pounds regularly

• Strong math skills and ability to read a tape measure

• High attention to detail and quality

• Prefer candidates with rigging, shop, or warehouse rigging experience

• Easy-going, reliable, punctual, and a consistent team player

Safety Gear:

• Steel toe boots required

• Safety glasses provided
