Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of custom capital equipment projects from initial concept through final commissioning. In this role, you'll coordinate cross-functional teams to design, manufacture, and install complex finishing systems that meet our customers' precise specifications and performance requirements.
Core Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of finishing system projects, serving as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. You'll develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, then coordinate efforts across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and field service teams to execute those plans effectively.
Your responsibilities include monitoring project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, managing scope changes, and ensuring adherence to schedule and budget constraints. You'll ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations, including RoHS, REACH, and OSHA requirements. You'll also provide hands-on support during installation and commissioning phases, troubleshooting technical challenges as they arise, and prepare regular status reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
The Challenge
This role requires navigating the complexities inherent in custom equipment manufacturing. You'll manage evolving engineering designs and customer requirements, address supply chain disruptions and extended lead times for specialized components, coordinate facility readiness and installation logistics at customer sites, and balance aggressive delivery schedules with strict performance guarantees. You'll need to think critically and act decisively when resolving technical issues during commissioning to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in equipment manufacturing or custom capital projects
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects concurrently

- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Advanced problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset
Preferred:

- Knowledge of surface finishing processes and equipment
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Experience with regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments
Why This Role Matters
Every project you deliver directly impacts our customers' production capabilities and business success. You'll work on technically challenging systems that require both strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving, with the autonomy to make decisions that drive project success.
If you're a results-oriented project leader ready to take on complex technical challenges, we encourage you to apply today.
