Industrial Service and Repair Technician

Located in Oakdale, PA

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

A well-established industrial service provider is seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Mechanic to join its service team based in the Oakdale, PA area. This role focuses on the inspection, evaluation, and repair of industrial pumps and rotating equipment, both in-house and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial pumps and rotating equipment at the service center and in the field
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures
• Complete all required documentation and service reports daily
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls as needed
• Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an industrial or mechanical service environment
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings and background checks
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Professional communication skills for customer interactions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a DOT physical and operate larger non-DOT vehicles
• Forklift operation experience
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to read and use measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, indicators)
• Willingness to travel for field service work and training
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
