Express Employment Professionals in Long Beach is looking to add a Recruiter/Sales Representative to join our team and report directly to the Owner. We need someone who is eager to engage in the entire recruiting experience with a sense of urgency, as well as a desire to make sales. We need someone who exudes professionalism and is driven to support the team.  We are open to mentoring/training; however, you will need to already bring a sense of professionalism, curiosity, and tenacity to the table.  

As a Recruiter/Sales Representative, you will help connect job seekers with available jobs, qualify applications and schedule interviews.

The main goal of the Recruiter/Sales Representative is to connect people with the right job, meet client needs, and network within the community in a sales capacity. Posting job ads online and on social media sites is a common activity.

POSITION:  Recruiter / Sales Representative
LOCATION:  Long Beach
PAY: $20-$24/Hr.

HOURS:  Mon -Fri 8am - 5pm  

Responsibilities

• Source, interview, and recruit qualified candidates for various companies
• Calling companies in the area to market candidates (Sales Calls)
• Setting appointments with prospective companies who have open positions
• Taking job orders from companies in the Long Beach and surrounding areas
• Posting to job boards, recruiting to fill positions, calling applicants
• Interviewing candidates and screening for positions that they match

Skills

• Ethical and trustworthy; driven to succeed; detail oriented, professional demeanor, sense of urgency in supporting the business' objectives/goals
• Receptive to feedback to help reach career goals
• Comfortable handling objections in person and over the phone
• Quick learner to master in house software
• Social media savvy
• Experience with Word, Outlook, and Excel

Qualifications

• College degree is preferred or a combination of education and experience
• Bi-Lingual REQUIRED (English/Spanish)
• Positive, friendly, upbeat attitude, detail oriented, self-reliant
• Strong attention to detail, team spirit and excellent written skills
• Strong professionalism and attendance required
• Sales driven and goal-oriented work style
