 1st Shift Segmented Hex Assembler

 

Our client is a manufacturing company in the Rockford area who is slicing through the manufacturing industry in the way they produce quality tools! They’re currently looking for a dedicated individual to work as a centerless grinder on 1st shift. If you have some experience with machinery, measuring with accuracy, and like to use your hands, this position could be for you. This is a great position with a stable company. Great benefits after hire!

 

Hours: Mon-Fri 6AM-2PM

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per Hour

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate centerless grinding machine
• Grind external cylindrical surfaces of carbide and metal work pieces
• Read blueprints and job sheet specifications
• Read dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be ground

 

Job Qualifications:

• Manufacturing experience
• Experience with Micrometers and Calipers preferred
• Dependable, reliable
• HS Diploma or GED
• Proficiency in math (measuring, converting decimals)
