Field Service Technician

Located in Raleigh, NC

Salary: $20-$25

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to go out to customer sites and make repairs or test motors. You will need a clean driving record to drive a company vehicle and a clean background check! Hours may vary depending on the site (example; may start at 7am or may end at 6pm, and this position has a high chance of overtime). Weekend and some travel may be required.  $20-$25 per hour depending on experience.

Summary: Responsible for performing all outside repair/maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Services and installs all equipment according to an established service schedule, customer specification, and/or company standards within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoots and rectifies potential problems on location
• Applies knowledge of products and services and seeks training/education as appropriate
• Works with ESDS items and follows ESD program
• Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submits on a timely basis
• Works closely with management and customer (as needed) to ensure timely scheduling of installations, repairs, and service work
• Ensures proper running condition of vehicle and schedules routine maintenance
• Builds and maintains customer relations in field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image
• Submits expense report weekly or as required
• Reads and understands customer instructions and specifications
• Responsible for gathering and transporting all equipment and tools required for job
