Forklift Operator - Order Picker

Salary: 23.00/hr+

Our client, a distributor in the Milton area, is looking for a warehouse forklift operator/ order picker to join their organization.  If you have high attention to detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, forklift certified in reverse walkie and pump truck and previous order picking experience, this role could be for you.   

 

What Does the Company Offer:

• 23.00/hr.
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
• Potential for full-time opportunities

What’s The Responsibilities of the Role:

• Picking order from daily picking sheet
• Load totes with orders
• Off load containers
• Preparing totes for shipments
• Replacing inventory with products that are received
• Using a computer to update inventory numbers
• Ensure orders are pick accurately
• Using pump truck to pick larger items
• Travel between two facilities for special projects 
• Other duties assigned by the manager

Qualification Of the Role:

• 2+ years of experience working in a distribution environment
• Valid certification in reverse walkie and pump truck
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
• High attention to detail
• Strong MS Office skills
• Must have your own vehicle in order to travel between facilities
• Solid work ethic and the desire to learn new skills
• Must be available to work full time hours
