The Technical Support Specialist provides frontline assistance to users experiencing technical issues with hardware, software, and network systems. This role focuses on diagnosing problems, delivering timely solutions, and ensuring a positive user experience. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically skilled, and able to communicate complex information clearly.

Job Duties

  • Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and applications
  • Document issues, resolutions, and procedures within support systems
  • Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support teams when necessary
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to users with varying technical skill levels
  • Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees by setting up and deactivating accounts
  • Maintain knowledge of current technologies, systems, and best practices
