Job Description

Express Guelph is hiring Electromechanical Technicians/Mechanics on behalf of a reputable company right here in Guelph. In this role, you’ll combine your skills in diesel mechanics with hands-on work maintaining and repairing aerial devices. From diagnosing complex systems to rebuilding major diesel components, every day brings variety and challenge. Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service on customer aerial devices.
• Repair or replace defective parts/elements on vehicles (warranty or reconditioning).
• Carry out mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies of nacelles.
• Interpret error codes, wiring diagrams, and schematics to diagnose issues in integrated systems (engine controls, ABS, transmission, electronic fuel injection).
• Conduct repair and overhaul of major diesel engine components, transmissions, differentials, steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints to support repair and assembly work.

Qualifications

• Training in industrial mechanics, heavy vehicle mechanics, diesel mechanics, or electromechanics (or equivalent training/experience).
• Millwright experience is an asset (no ticket required).
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex integrated systems.
• Own toolbox (or willingness to use one provided under company conditions).
