Die Cast Operator Summary: A die casting company in Sparta is looking for Die Cast Operators to join their team on 2^nd shift. Only 15 minutes from North Grand Rapids, this is a great long term job opportunity for someone looking to have a career in manufacturing. Apply today!

Die Cast Operator Responsibilities:

• Operates any die cast and/or trim press machine, as assigned, to cast a variety of aluminum parts
• Visual inspection of parts
• Report defects or improper operations to supervisor
• Diagnose and perform minor repairs to die cast, trim press machines and robot gripper system
• Capable of repairing water, hot oil and minor hydraulic leaks on dies
• Ability to maneuver through touch screen computer on trim presses
• Capable of pulling and setting slides
• Completing production paperwork accurately

Schedule & Pay:

• 2nd shift Monday – Thursday 3:00 pm - 1:20 am, Fridays 1:00 pm - 9:20 pm as needed
• $19.00/HR

Die Cast Operator Qualifications:

• Must be able to withstand a hot work environment
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of basic math, reading and writing
• Able to complete defect recognition training and be able to follow quality inspection processes
• Ability to learn to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments/repairs to machines
• Must have excellent attention to detail
