Salary: $12.00 - $13.00/hr

We are looking for a skilled Embroiderer to join our team. This role involves operating embroidery machines and/or performing hand embroidery to decorate garments, accessories, and other fabric items based on customer orders and specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in working with different fabrics, threads, and patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate multi-head and single-head embroidery machines to stitch logos, designs, and lettering

• Prepare garments or fabric by hooping and stabilizing materials accurately

• Read and follow design layouts, work orders, and customer specifications

• Select appropriate threads, needles, and machine settings for each job

• Monitor embroidery machines during operation to ensure consistent quality

• Trim excess threads and inspect finished items for accuracy and defects

• Maintain and clean embroidery equipment regularly

• Keep accurate records of completed work and production times

• Assist with design setup or minor digitizing tasks (if applicable)

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior experience operating embroidery machines or doing hand embroidery

• Familiarity with fabrics, thread types, and basic sewing techniques

• Ability to read and follow instructions, design layouts, and work orders

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Basic computer skills (experience with embroidery software is a plus)

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed

• Experience with Tajima, Barudan, Brother, or similar embroidery machines

• Knowledge of digitizing software (e.g., Wilcom, Pulse)

• Experience in a fast-paced production or custom apparel environment
