Our client is seeking a Terminal Operator!

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Terminal Operator to join our team. This hands-on position is responsible for operating terminal equipment, loading and unloading bulk materials and concrete, performing routine maintenance, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to following safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-shift safety inspections and complete required documentation.
• Load and unload bulk materials from trucks and rail cars.
• Operate and adjust terminal equipment, including air slides, rail switches, and related machinery.
• Complete material management reports and shipping documentation accurately using computer systems and paper forms.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on terminal equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the terminal, equipment, and surrounding grounds.
• Collaborate with team members, management, customers, and vendors to ensure efficient operations.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout and confined space requirements.

Qualifications:
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with equipment or machinery.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete required aptitude testing.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service skills.

Hours:
• Full-Time
