Diesel Mechanic

Salary: $20/Hr

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable Mechanic to work on roll-off trucks and related equipment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and keeping heavy-duty vehicles in top condition.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain roll-off trucks, hydraulic systems, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Complete work orders and service records accurately.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 year of recent hands-on mechanic experience (diesel, heavy truck, or equipment repair preferred).
• Must have your own basic mechanic tools.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• CDL or ASE certifications a plus.
