We are seeking a Technician to support our production manufacturing and process engineering teams. This role involves developing, testing, analyzing, and observing manufacturing products and processes, both in the laboratory and on the production floor. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to innovative solutions.
Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards.
Perform tests and inspections on products to verify compliance with specifications.
Prepare metallurgical samples for evaluation.
Observe and collaborate with equipment operators to confirm proper techniques are used; recommend modifications as needed.
Assist in fabricating, installing, and modifying equipment to meet critical performance standards.
Test and analyze products for strength, stability, and other characteristics to support R&D efforts.
Conduct testing and analysis of radioactive materials (if applicable), using radiological procedures and emission spectrometry techniques.
Build or process customer products as required.
Travel as needed for product testing, training, and/or installation support.
Compile and interpret data from tests and analyses; prepare detailed reports, charts, and graphs.
Set up, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
Ensure and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Education
Associate degree (AS) in Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience & Skills
1–2 years of experience using a variety of test equipment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain government security clearance (requires passing a federal background investigation).
Starting salary: $23.49 – $28.32 per hour
