Packaging Operator

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local Williams, IA company that's seeking an experienced Packaging Operator to join their team! The main responsibility of this associate will be to assist with seed packaging.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a pay rate starting at $18/hr, dependent on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior experience in an agricultural environment.

Environment: 

• This is a 1st shift 7:00am-3:30/4:30pm schedule, with occasional weekend work and overtime available!
• As a leading seed production provider, candidates must be comfortable working in a larger environment to support all warehouse operations
• Steel toed boots are required in this environment

Duties: 

• Packaging products
• Supporting warehouse operations by assisting in various departments
• Operating bagging equipment on the production line
• Lifting up to 50 lbs of product

Skills/Experience Required: 

• Prior experience in a warehouse setting and with a sit-down forklift
• Knowledge of and ability to follow established safety procedures and practices
