Certified Medical Assistant

Located in Tyler, TX

Salary: up to $16.50

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their growing team! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services! 

In this role, you will:

• Triaging patients, including vital signs and updating medical history
• Answering multiline telephones
• Transmitting medical records when they are requested
• Schedule appointments for patients either by phone or from the providers recall report
• Assist in any duties needed 

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Strong computer skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Medical Assistant Certification required!
• 2 years of experience preferred 
• Strong attention to do detail 
• Adhere to company policies and procedures 
• Knowledge of government/ legal regulations and requirements related to healthcare including confidentiality of patient information, OSHA and HIPPA
• Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques
