Paramedic - IV Therapy

Located in Delray Beach, FL

We are seeking licensed and experienced Paramedics to provide IV therapy services in professional, safe, and client-focused environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer IV therapies and injections in accordance with the Florida scope of practice and medical protocols
• Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and monitor vital signs
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of treatments and patient responses
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and medical standards
• Collaborate with the supervising physician or medical director as needed
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and a clean treatment environment
• Provide patient education and ensure a positive client experience

Required Qualifications:

• Florida State Paramedic Certification (current and active, issued by the Florida Department of Health)
• Completion of a Florida-approved Paramedic Education Program (meeting state requirements for didactic, clinical, and field hours)
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Paramedic Certification (current)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – American Heart Association or equivalent
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification – current and valid
• Valid Florida driver’s license (if travel to patient sites is required)
• Excellent IV insertion skills and familiarity with infusion therapy protocols
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience providing IV therapy in a clinical or mobile setting
• Additional certifications (PALS, PHTLS) are a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and patient-centered environment
