Loss Mitigation Specialist

We’re seeking detail-oriented and proactive Loss Mitigation Specialists to assess risk, manage claims, and support resolution strategies across a range of industries. This role is ideal for someone who combines investigative skills with strong communication and a customer-first mindset, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loss claims, incident reports, and supporting documentation
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather facts and assess liability
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, adjusters, and legal teams to facilitate resolution
• Recommend mitigation strategies to reduce future risk and improve operational protocols
• Track and report on open cases, settlements, and recovery efforts
• Maintain accurate records in CRM or case management systems
• Support compliance with regulatory standards and client-specific guidelines
• Assist with emergency response coordination and documentation during disaster events
• Guide field teams on documentation, reporting, and best practices

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in loss mitigation, claims management, restoration, or property services
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Familiarity with insurance processes, OSHA standards, and risk protocols
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management platforms
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, depending on client base
• Comfortable working in both office and field-facing environments
