Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00/HR

Duties:

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, reporting safety concerns immediately and correcting hazards when appropriate.
  • Understand and maintain compliance with machine safeguarding standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and OSHA safety requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain working knowledge of PLC logic, PLC troubleshooting, and industrial control systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Audit and evaluate PM programs to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, relays, control panels, wiring systems, electrical circuits, and machine controls.
  • Repair and maintain conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and automation equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, ladder logic diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, rebuilds, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation within maintenance systems.
  • Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and reliability initiatives.
  • Perform additional maintenance and technical duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • State Indentured Journeyman Industrial Electrician Card, Industrial Control Certificate, Electro-Mechanical Technology degree, or equivalent education and experience preferred.
  • Equivalent hands-on industrial maintenance experience will be considered in place of formal education.
  • Previous experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Industrial Electrician, Controls Technician, Maintenance Electrician, Automation Technician, Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
  • Working knowledge of PLC programming, PLC troubleshooting, and PLC logic.
  • Experience with relay logic is highly preferred.
  • Experience with industrial controls, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, relays, HMIs, servo systems, and automated equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical prints, ladder diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability practices.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, production, food processing, packaging, paper converting, plastics, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
